What Can One be Proud of? / myLot

In the world, people respect those who have money and position. But aren't these things transient? Can we be proud of them? People lose their money and position and then no one respects them. Can one be proud of her beauty, and success? They too pass away. Then, what can we rally be proud of?

One can be proud of things that took them time to do. Like making money, doing some hard work and then getting that output. The process is always something worth being proud of.

I guess in the end of the day if i know i gave it my best shot and was a good human....i would be proud of myself.

All you can be proud of is having touched people's lives in a positive way. Even if relationships and friendships don't last forever, the good things that we bring to each other's lives stay with us and shape us permanently. There's a saying, "be a rainbow in somebody's cloud" and if you can do that for a few people in your life, that's a reason to be proud.
