Yes, I am so tired checking test papers this day, fortunately, I have finished 7 subjects. I only have 1 subject left and that's for tomorrow, then compute grades, after computing, posting them in the system on line. I hope to finish all on Thursday to apply for clearance and everything. So sad, one section good for 43 students none pass in the final exam, so they have to retake, oh my God.They are so stupid and lazy. I gave them what to come out in the test. They never care to study , so no choice , if no progress after retake, they' surely fail . I am cramming now, Sunday is so close from this day, so help me Lord. Thank you for your moral support. Take care all, be safe and be healthy all the time. Image by Pixabay

So you're a teacher. Well, I have two (2) sisters who are public school teachers, one has already retired at 42, she's a cancer survivor. She had no option but to retire considering that stress is the number friend of any illness. Being an elementary school teacher is really very stressful. Our mother was a teacher too and I did not follow her footsteps. I don't like teaching since I saw how my mother cope up with her situations when we were still children. We had no electricity at that time. My mom has to go to sleep late since she still made her lesson plan with only a kerosene lamp to light her. However, teachers really like what they are doing. That is their passion.

@pahak627, yeah I am teaching at Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST) formerly Don Mariano Marcos Memorial Polytechnic Sate College,as university professor. In June our university has a new name University of Southern Philippines of Science and Technology ( USTP) . It keeps on changing name and this last name might be the last. Teaching is indeed a laborious job, and yeah you are right, we enjoyed our work much.

well, teacher is really not an easy work to do, especially for the elementary, middle and high school ones, at least in our country. It is really stressful.

Sounds like some of your students are quite a challenge. I wouldn't have the patience for teaching. I hope you get it all done by deadline, good luck!

When I had marked the last test of my 40-year-teaching-career, I let out a loud whoop! I know that you can understand me.

Well, you'd better do something to your students, or they will fail to pass the examination even after the retaking, because ,as you have mentioned, they are so stupid and lazy.

You do all you can do and the rest is up to them. You can't force them to study they have to want to succeed. It must be frustrating sometimes.

One or two students not passing is bad but still understandable. A whole class of 43 students not passing, there is a bigger underlying problem that needs to be addressed soon.

@allen0187 That is only during the departmental exam, out of 5 ,000 examinees only this section that did not make it.Why? they did not study the pointers. There are other bases for grading them. The subject was Differential calculus.

I'm happy for you that you get the visa and fly this coming Sunday, hope you enjoy your stay there and be safe always. I can imagine how busy you are now this time checking test papers, making grades and posting on line but don't worry to your students who didn't pass, they're the one who made it.

It is rally tiring and saddening if all the students were so lazy to study. Then just give them a dose of their own medicine! It's no longer your fault!

@acelawrites , Just imagine the pointers given to them to give them the last chance to pass, but sad out of 5 thousand plus examinees, only this section hard headed.
