Favorite "Lie" Songs #9 - "I Might Lie"

And we're off. Figured I'd go with a fun series, Favorite "Lie" Songs. We're at #9, which is "I Might Lie" by Andy Taylor.
Andy Taylor is best known as the original guitarist for Duran Duran, and as the guitarist for The Power Station. And while he did rejoin Duran Duran for a stint, he left again to pursue a solo career.
(Fun Wikipedia Fact: Taylor co-founded RockAffairs.com, a website that allows unsigned bands to sell MP3's and merchandise, and keep 100% of profits.)
The Duranies were probably confused by Thunder, Taylor's solo debut, a hard rocking record that was about as far away from Duran Duran's slick alternative pop music as possible. It's notable that former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones not only plays on the album, but co-wrote songs as well. "I Might Lie" is, like the rest of the album, full of loud guitars, a rocker that is, as far as I'm concerned, the best I've heard of the guitarist's solo work.

Taylor didn't make it as a solo. But as I recall he dated supermodels.

@JohnRoberts - Smart move. He obviously doesn't like being in Duran Duran, and his solo career went nowhere.

Yes, they are still going strong, with all of the original members other than Andy Taylor.
