Do you eat daikon?

I looked up this word from the dictionary. Actually here we still regard it as a kind of "carrot". We will call it as white or red carrot.
We often have daikon in cold days. Stewing beef or mutton with daikon is delicious. Do you eat daikon and how do you cook it?

Sometimes its in the spring rolls but I don't like it directly.

we call that labanos or radish. we can add it to fish stew or pork stew.

@youless ok, i know why already. according to wikipedia, daikon is a mild-flavored winter radish (Raphanus sativus) usually characterized by fast-growing leaves and a long, white, napiform root.
so we just know them as radish here. short cut.
