Recently, @FourWalls and myself both finished up "Girl" songs series'. In the interests of equality, we've both started "Boy" songs. I'm at #6 in my countdown, Germany's mighty Scorpions and their song "Bad Boys Running Wild." Led by rhythm guitarist Rudolf Schenker, the band's only constant, Scorpions formed in Hanover in 1965. According to Wikipedia, The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide. They have won three World Music Awards, have an exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and, most importantly, a Playboy Magazine award for Best Artwork for the cover of their album Lovedrive (which is a classic cover, by the way.) "Bad Boys Running Wild," from their 1984 Triple Platinum album, Love at First Sting, was not a hit, nor was it released as a single. It should have been, however. It's as radio-friendly as "Big City Nights," a single from that album, and rocks almost as hard as their big hit, "Rock You Like a Hurricane." In other words, it would have fit right in with the playlist on your local early 80's Album Oriented Rock FM. Instead, it served as a great opening song for Love at First Sting. Enjoy!

I like that better than "Rock You Like a Hurricane," but then maybe I heard "Rock You Like a Hurricane" 60 or 70 thousand times too much....

@teamfreak16 -- I think that every time I hear them play the opening riffs of "Blister in the Sun" at a ball game.

I think it's funny when "Rock You Like a Hurricane" gets used in a commercial or played at a stadium. Did anyone even bother to listen to the lyrics before they signed off?

It's 80's metal. You might not have listened to that at the time.

Used to have that album on at least once a day. Should probably take a listen to it again because it is awesome.

Yeah, it is a really good album. They're a good band. Saw them for ten bucks in 83.

Scorpions rock. Based on their numbers and awards, they should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
