My Visa Card Expired

Because I was so inactive in my online writing, I forgot to check my Union Bank Eon card. I am using it to draw funds from my Paypal account, and so I thought I had not checked or used it for almost a year now.
So when I checked my Paypal account, it stated that my Union Bank Eon card attached to it was expired.
I have to go to the bank to ask on what to do.
Do you encounter such situation when procrastination led to another problem?

I did not have a problem with visa cards similar to yours. O, by the way, I got no more visa cards. I cut them to pieces and threw them to the garbage after paying them all off. All I got are 3 debit cards with no cash in them . . .

It is just a debit card; not a VISA card people use to loan to purchase or get money from.It is attached to my Paypal acct.

@acelawrites if you're only using your eon card to withdraw your paypal money via atm, you can still use it even if the date on the card is expired. but if you also use it for online transactions, yes, you'll have to go to the nearest unionbank branch to ask for a new atm card.

That reminds me by next year my eon card will also expire. I might have it changed once my relatives goes back to US. requires 150php and will make you wait for a week to do so. Probably by December or January.

I didn't notice it expired already until such time that Paypal made a notice about it. I opened it when I joined Bubblews to withdarw my earnings from there.

Someone said we can still use expired EON to withdraw. Only the 16-digits card number expire, not the 12-digits bank account number. But I haven't tried using the card since its expiry. I didn't know EON has dual purpose that's why I am now using E-Coin Virtual Visa Card to withdraw PayPal funds.

Mine has expired too that's why I am now using E-Coin Virtual Visa Card to withdraw PayPal funds. No Unionbank branch at Sorsogon and I hate going to Legazpi City just for my banking transactions. But I think it's @hereandthere who commented on my post that we can still use expired EON card to withdraw. Just transfer to bank account (12-digits number of EON must be linked to PayPal) not to Visa card (16-digits number).
I didn't know that EON has dual purpose too so I stopped using it after Visa card expiry.
Have you noticed that PayPal is introducing Paymaya?

I don't know that we can use the 12-digits number on EON and still can use it. I don't know about Paymaya. What is it? A new payment facility?

@acelawrites I think Paymaya is a virtual visa card from Smart Communications.

@acelawrites you mean you haven't linked bank account to PayPal? I learned that from Bubblers before. I've wasted a lot of $$ when I was new using PayPal because I withdraw to card (EON 16-digits visa card number) many times ($5 fee per withdraw). It's FREE if we withdraw P7,000 or more to bank account (EON 12-digits account#) and only P50 fee if below P7k.

I am just using that visa card for my online earnings; to withdraw in our currency from Paypal.

It is easy to renew, though it would be time-consuming and I also have to pay for it again.
