Does Your Cell Phone Identify You?

I was listening to a local radio station and one of the announcers stated that she found an interesting study about cellphones. The study identified that most I Phones were owned by Democrats and most Republicans owned Android phones. Of course they had people could call in to the station and say what political affiliation they were and what phone they owned, but no one called in to prove this theory.
Then I wondered if the study was really true, because you can't always believe what you hear or see. So I did some research and sure enough there was a study.
I own an Android phone and I closely associate with a Republican. What about you? What political affiliation do you relate to and what phone do you own, Android or I Phone?

I do not live in the States now. I live in Israel so I am right wing. I never thought that my smartphone knows who I am.
