Ok, first off I am not trying to be high and mighty and come with the holier than thou approach but I have basic principles and work ethics. Hope I don't come off as ranting, lol!~ Some of you might already be aware that I started working in a coffee house not long ago. I am not saying that I am perfect as I have been late a few minutes before when clocking in to work, maybe twice but what I can't stand the most and conform to is a lakadaisical working attitude...Que Sera Sera...sorry no offense Doris DayAnd Lady Gaga is definitely not my type of music especially poker face...ok I won't get ahead of myself, at least the guys there do smileI am totally ok with joking around and stuff but when it comes to work one needs to be serious at times. I can't really understand how can an order that with 2 set meals where one can be missed out, even after being kept reminded but fell on deaf ears. Customer waited so long that she just left, only having taken one but not the other set although she has already paid for. Here's another classic one - this coloured cloth is for the counter, this is for the tables, and that is for the kitchen...the dustpen is so dirty after washing, please wipe it. Which cloth shall we use then? ( since all other clothes are "occupied" at the moment ) Oh, just use that one ( the one that is used for wiping the tables )....and we were not even towards closing yet. I mean even if we do pour boiling water and wash the cloth and what not....I can't imagine myself using the cloth on the foor on my home to wipe the feet, washed and bleached and then after to use it as a bath towel

Some people just don't have common sense. Common sense isn't so common as they say. I know it gets frustrating when you have to keep telling people what to do when they should know what has to be done and washing the dust pan with the cloth to was the tables, never!! That should be something that everybody knows. They shouldn't have to be told that!

Sounds like things need to be reorganized and work taken more seriously. You sound like you have the talent for being a manager.

Yes indeed things need to be reorganized and work needs to be tsken more seriously......but I certainly do not intend to be a manager, lol!~I already have my handful at the moment
