Already passed my halfway mark and still 20 days to go

I've always had more than enough data to use, in fact never finished it, ok only one time where I experimented it by watching youtube. I have 10GB data to use every month but I have already halved it for this month and still I have a long way to go before the next refresh. All this is because my router is down and out Alas my poor wireless router, you have served me well..... Suddenly it happened...ok not true...the adapter of my router has already cracked a long time and I have taped it up ( don't ask me how it overheated and cracked ) but it can still be used. Then came the lightning strikes, it held its ground. Stout and sturdy as can be, it had finally reached its treshold and now it has been put out of commission. So now without the wireless modem router I basically have no access to unlimited internet usage. In fact there's no internet connection for the PC for the time being. I had to use USB teethering with my phoneThat's why my data is running out

sorry to hear about that. Yeah lighting can mess stuff like that up big time that's why I always try and turn things when it's storming.

@zweeb82 I never heard of that might be worth checking into. I've had lighting ruin a couple of my computers before.

My advise would be to go and purchase a new router before going over on your data. I don't know who your carrier is, but some of the carriers when you go over charge a lot of money for the overages. Mine charges $10 for every GB over the 18BG I get each month. I have come close a few times to going over. If you can't afford to purchase the router then I would un-tether your phone to avoid overage. Good luck!

The phone is not plugged to the PC all the time as we seldom switch it on unless we need to use it. I have been busy with the job that I haven't the time to purchase the wireless modem actually. Most probably will have to get it done tmorrow
