That's the drawing of my 6 year old son. He's really into space and a few other stuff. That's the solar system he drew. Not just the typical planets we know but some dwarf planets as well. He knows the moons of those planets as well but I think he didn't had the time and space to draw them all since he did this in between free time at school. He even draws and names a few of his own planets I mean not just randomly but as though they are real as he always draw them at the same position and the names don't change

What a nice picture! Your son is a little scientist This picture is good already. If it is colored, it will be better.

@zweeb82 This is why I call your son a little scientist rather than painter Last time when there were a lot of children who were painting together. Others painted the mountains, rivers, towers, animals, cartoons... Do you know what my son painted? The greatest circuit diagram in the world

@youless He must have an inclination towards science and the sorts. On too of the cartoons he watches, he watches car washes, windmills / wind turbines, all those moving gears stuff, dominoes, space stuff. And now he draws those natural disaster stuff as well like typhoon, landslide, whirlpool and so on

A little scientist, lol!~True, a little colour would be nice but I think we'll just focus on the drawing first, the colour part we'll just let him develop as he goes. Not too worried about that as he still has a long way to go

@zweeb82 I think he should be encouraged to do more of such things.Of course, keep an eye to ensure he is not neglecting his regular studies.

He is equally as good in his studies so we have no worries on that. Anyway we are not the type that forces him to get good grades and all that. We just always encourage him to do his best in whatever he endeavors. Just put in excellence and if he has done his best there's nothing to regret about. Grades isn't the most important

@zweeb82, your son has a good mix of learning and imagination. Does he read or browse a lot? I am sure he discusses a lot with you. It will be nice to feed and stimulate his curiosity. You never know how far he will reach..... But you know he is taking the first steps there.

Yes, he is very inquisitive and imaginative and I always encourage him. To talk and interact and stimulate his creativity as well as his thirst for knowledge. Always draw together with him, sometimes forced to, lol!~What to do ..when one becomes a father he automatically becomes an artist too, lol!~O and yes, he reads and browses a lot. Very observant too as I always teach him how to look at things from different angles / point of view, perception and all that
