The Square Meal Deal - Well now, we have gone through that latest posting of mine with the little poem about the motorcycle with the square wheels, so today it is on to the tale about the square meal. Now then, I understand that here on the Mill Otter website we do not discuss cooking recipes and that sort of stuff, but this posting is not of that sort. It is the kind of discussion often seen around here posted by website stalwarts who love to tell us that they got out of bed today, had a spot of breakfast, and went on into the chores of their lives - washing their hands, peeing, cleaning up after the pet cat, and even additional exciting activities. No, this one will be all about the square meal. Square plates, square cups, square potatoes, square fried chicken, and even some square pudding. Even today's weather got into the act. It was 90 degrees outside. How square is that? If only our current politicians would try to pick up where Franklin Delano Roosevelt left off in his presidency before he so unfortunately ceased breathing back there in the middle 1940s ... FDR was the one whose presidency was remarked by his "square deal" policy. So - tell your politician friends to read this discussion. It just might give them the idea. Yes. It is time to again square stuff up for both us Mill Otters and the rest of the folks out there. Yup. Round 'em up and square 'em up.
