We commonly use some spices and herbs when cooking. Each spice and herb give unique taste to the food cooked. Some spice and herb I use to use everyday in my cooking are chili, onion, garlic, lemongrass, cumin, ginger, turmeric, bay leaf, nutmeg, candlenut, clove, coriander, cinnamon, lime, and pepper grains.
Do you use them too in your cooking?
What are some spices and herbs you know and be usually used by people in your place to cook food?

I use most of the herbs that you have mentioned. But I don´t know what is candlenut. I´ll check it. I love to add new spices in my cooking.

Salt, more salt and lots of black pepper! Of course, I also use garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, and bay leaves.
