Would you like someone to tell you the end of a movie that you haven´t seen yet?

I have noticed that many people want to give a movie (or book) review and the way they do it is to tell you who kills who or who marries who, depending on the genre. I would love to have an unlike sign for those people. They take out all the fun of my reading or watching. What I want out of a review is to know about the genre, maybe a bit about the author and if the person liked it or not. After all, a review is, at the most, a personal opinion. How do you feel about this?

If I was really interested in the book, I may not like it. But in movie, it's okay.... then I start looking for how the narrative pointed towards that end.

@marguicha I tend to read a book from just anywhere, so it's more like 'taking the whole'. Movies don't attract me much, so I don't feel cheated or anything when these are 'spoiled' for me.

@hora_fugit For people who like movies, it is like if it was a book. It does spoil it, if you know the end.

I feel a book is about the same as a good movie.

That definitely upsets me. I don't want to know what happens until I read it myself. Much the same as a TV show that has already aired. I don't want to read about it before I see it even though people want to post it.

I don“t know why they have such a desire to ruin the end for the others.

Oh... I realy hate it. I never want to know the ending before. It will spoil my mood and curiosity. Also I will not tell others the ending of a book or a movie.

I don't like it also if they tell what happens to the main character, etc. as if they are already telling the whole story. Then there's no need to buy the book anymore.

It depends... if they mark it well with a spoiler alert then I don't have an issue. Sometimes I decide to read it anyway. If there is no spoiler alert then it bothers me, because I might have liked the option to not know and find out on my own

That's what "spoiler alerts" are for!
