Carrie Muskat reports the news on Monday the Chicago Cubs will send Jon Lester to pitch in Game One of the 2016 World Series versus the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday evening at Progressive Field in Cleveland Ohio.
The Cubs will send right handed starting pitcher Jake Arrieta will be the Game Two starter in the 2016 World Series versus the Indians.
Arrieta has pitched in two games for the Cubs during the National League Division Series versus the San Francisco Giants in a losing cause in the Third Game of the N L D S and he was the losing pitcher in Game Four of the National League Championship Series versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Arrieta will be pitching in his first World Series game in his career in the Major Leagues since he made his debut in the Major Leagues with the Baltimore Orioles in 2010.

Lester did get the usual 4 days rest so the Cubs are on normal rotation. Arrieta could have some rust with 6 days off. Look what happened to Kershaw on 5 days rest.

That is my concern if the Indians lead 1-0.
