Zac Jackson reports the news on Tuesday current free agent wide receiver Nate Washington is working out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday. Due to a season ending injury to Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson who is currently on the injured reserved list, the Buccaneers need a wide receiver to replace him on their lineup. Washington, 33, has played in the National Football League since 2005 with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans. Washington tried out to make the New England Patriots during training camp in 2016 before he was released by the team before the start of the current football season. Washington has worked out for the New Orleans Saints and the Detroit Lions last month but he was not able to make either team. The Buccaneers are in need of wide receiver depth behind their lead wide receiver Mike Evans. They figure that Washington will fill the void that Jackson has left.

You are correct John. It is hard for any player to leave the game of football if they feel he still make a contribution.
