Now WHERE did I put????

We all go through this at one time or another. You put something you really like some place where you can find it again, "easily". Yeah, right! You spend hours, days, even weeks looking for that item that you put someplace where you could find it again. You either do an all out search or you give up and rebuy the item. Everyone who can say "Been there, done that" raise your hands! I just went through that again with my favorite pin. It is of a cat with its head in the toilet. It is so "cat" and so perfect for a cat person. I had found it on a shirt I had worn to town a few days before and was going to do the wash. So, being the intelligent person I am, I put it someplace where I could find it again...not in my jewelry box. I spent hours, days, and weeks looking for the pin. I was going to order it from Ebay, where I found it in the first place. the past few days have been very busy so I didn't get the order in. I planned yesterday to order it today so I could have my pin back. Last night, we got home late after I finished work so we needed to wear heavier coats to make the trek over to feed Spot the kitty. I decided to grab one of my longer heavier jackets to wear. For some reason my hands wandered into the pockets and low and behold, I found the missing pin! I guess I put it in the pocket of the jacket so I would have it with me when I went to work. And of course I didn't wear that particular jacket. Needless to say I am thrilled at finding the pin, but am trying to promise myself that I won't put it "where I can find it again easily". To my fellow myLotters, happy hunting!
