Kevin Patra reports the news the defending Super Bowl champions the Denver Broncos have placed on the injured reserved list their running back C J Anderson. Anderson suffered a torn meniscus on his right knee during the Broncos 27-9 win over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Anderson had arthroscopic surgery on his knee on Thursday. Anderson will not be playing football for the Broncos for the remainder of the current football season which a tough loss for the Broncos to lose their lead running back. Rookie running back Devonate Booker will take over the lead running back role for the Broncos while Kapri Bibbs and Andy Janovich will have more touches with the football for the time being.
