Couple of days ago my aunt asked me to buy her batteries for her webcam. It's hard to believe some of those Digicams still requires a AA batteries. So, I went to the hardware and bought probably the most advance AA in there. When they tried it to her cam it didn't work but when we switch back to that regular battery, forced me to buy another one. I guess not all AA batteries work on cameras.

My camera uses double A battery but I am using rechargeable double A so I need not buy new ones all the time. I just have to re-charge once they are exhausted.

@Letranknight2015 Do, just buy a charger and in the long run you are actually saving more.

I buy the cheap ones and usually they work fine, but every so often there is a dud. I hate to ask, but did you check the batteries were in the right way? I am always assuming they don't work and then realisung one is the wrong way round.

Hello @Jackalyn Well, I think the Digicam is requires a lot of juice so I don't buy cheap batteries, probably cheap there. But there 2 to 3 dollars worth is already huge.

I find there can be a huge difference in price between batteries. I don't believe the most expensive are always necessarily the best.

I guess toshiba is better but haven't tried it. My canon digicam's battery is flat similar to cellphones.
