Did you have an imaginary friend?

This post may contain spoilers from the movie - "Inside Out".
A portion of one of my favorite animated movies, "Inside Out" - features an "imaginary friend" that the main character had as a small child. In the movie the "imaginary friend" was a fuzzy pink elephant type creature that dressed as a clown named "Bing Bong".
Which got my curiosity up. Who here had an imaginary friend as a kid? I didn't, and I asked my parents about it. Nope, no "bing bong", or any other imaginary friend for me.
It also made me wonder something else. Certain people believe that children are naturally more sensitive to the Spiritual realm and can do things like see auras and spirits until the world teaches them other wise. I don't know if I believe this or not. I guess it could be possible. But who knows for sure? So my other theory about "imaginary friends" - is - are they infact something of the spiritual realm which adults typically can't see? That's spooky and how appropriate as we are creeping up on Halloween.
Did you have an imaginary friend? And if so, did the friend appear more like a human, or more like an animal?

Were you concerned ? Or was it like a normal part of childhood, not worrisome?

That's special, actually yours reminds me of the "worry doll" legend - I had some when I was a little kid - tiny dolls you were supposed to tell your worries to

I had many imaginary friends as a child. Most of them were animals. The most memorable was called Winnison Chick. He was a small chicken. Where I got the name from, I have never known, but I think Winnison Chick ought to be a cartoon character. There was also a bird called Scrubby Bird, who I imagined as some kind of sparrow type.

Oh that's amazing! Fascinating really. Winnison... I like it. The Adventures of Winnison Chick and Scrubby Bird... should be a comic book.
