Good afternoon.I was thinking of all the years growing up. Going to school, bully, jealous etc. I do not think that I was a jealous sort, but believe envy. not sure if these two words mean the same. Growing up and raggedy clothing, hand me down etc. I see the students with top brand clothing, clean etc. as I got older.Jealous and envy do not play the part any more with me. I have been through this and not I am free of the word jealous and envy. Now I say.enjoy. Have you ever been jealous of someone ?envy? Photo is public. Below is the word jealousy from Wikipedia Jealousy is an emotion, and the word typically refers to the thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, concern, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of status or something of great personal value, particularly in reference to a human connection. There's nothing wrong with jealousy as long as it doesn't grow into contempt and hatred. We all been jealous in our lifetimes at least once.. It is totally normal, especially on the elementary and high school times.

I don't think that I have ever felt envy or jealous. I say live and let live and to each their own, and I believe that you have to be very secure to feel this way, which I am.

I was jealous of a student in the high school who was both brilliant and a very good athlete. At least he wasn't conceited.

I believe jealousy is inherent in human nature and don't believe anyone denying they ever felt feelings of jealousy.

I think it's natural to be jealous from time to time but the important thing is to not let the jealousy get out of control and to focus on what you have rather than constantly comparing yourself to others.

I remember always wanting a pair of Levi jeans. Never had a pair until I was in my senior year. I had a job and bought 2 pair that I wore out! Then I remember wanting a pair of Frye boots. Loved them. Had been envy whenever I saw someone wearing a pair. After high school, I bought my first pair. Got huge blisters on my heels and took the dang boots back. The sales person was a gal from high school that wore the boots. She said that you had to suffer through the pain of blisters and aching feet while you broke in the boot. Not for this gal. At $125 a pair (that was back in the 70's) I demanded a refund. Haven't fallen to the old jealous thing since.

Maybe when I was younger I might be jealous of what a person had or did. I remember when my friends went on vacation and we couldn't afford to go anywhere, I was a bit jealous of that. Now I try to be content with whatever I have. I also try to be happy for other people.

Yes, as a child , i would always get jealous whenever my bestfriend has a new dress . So, when i arive home i would also tell my mother to tell my father to buy me a new dress . And i am happy , they always do give in to my request because i seldom does that since they always buy me nice clothes already , which my classmates would also be jealous of . ha ha ha

When I was in High School, I was always jealous of the students who made As in Math. That was my worst subject, I had to struggle to make Cs. I always wished I could understand it and whiz by on the tests.

I don't think I've ever been jealous, although I have occasionally envied. I tend to be more envious as an adult than I was as a child and teenager.

Not really because I figure if I work hard enough I can get what I want, just like everyone else did.

I grew up with everything that I needed. Not rich or with fancy things. I was the type of person to give to others and share what little I had.
