While i like to cook my wife likes to eat, she enjoys my cooking that once it is breakfast, lunch or dinner time, she will prompt me to go get the food ready, i am always happy seeing she enjoy my cooking, but i want to know if am doing her good by indulging in this act of cooking her for her to eat and enjoy, because it is writing a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to sleep and so shall your poverty come on you like a prowler and your need like an armed man, so guys based on this saying is it still right to continue to pamper her or to encourage her to do it herself? maybe the other way round will do, while she cook i will be eating. Guys your contributions please.

My fiance does most of the cooking. I have offered many times but he prefers to cook and he enjoys it. If he is working late I cook for him and have it ready when he gets home. Just talk to her if you feel she should be helping out with the cooking. Maybe she just thinks you are happy doing it and she loves your cooking.

@goodson_ben So there you go! That is a wonderful compliment and you should feel great that she feels that way. If you want her to cook for you for a change every now and then just ask her. I am sure that she will not mind.

I hope the guys will give you some good comments. From the woman's point of view I wonder if she just doesn't want to cook or has been so spoiled by your cooking that she prefers to keep things as they are. I would suggest you tell her that for once you would like to have a cooked dinner placed in front of you and see what happens.
