He Was so Close

I had mentioned to some of my friends on here that my husband was out of job since August. He had finally had enough of all the lazy coworkers in his old job. Since then he had applied to many places, but none of them had called him for an interview until he decided to suck it up and apply to work at a pizza place again, Dominos to be exact.
They had called him and after giving them a lot of the same personal info and filling out all of their forms and stuff. He eventually was told about going to orientation to work for them. Unfortunately, their place for orientation is an hour away. We went with him and we had gotten there early.
I was surprised to see him come back out of the store so soon. Turns out he was supposed to bring his social security card and without it the man refused to give him the orientation. My husband forgot it because he had given them his social security umber so many times and multiple proof of him being a citizen and I am sure they did a background check on him as well. He was so upset over that and since we can't afford to go much longer without a job he has decided to suck it up and talk to his ex boss about going back to work there.
He had talked to one of his old coworkers, one of the good ones who we are friends with and he occasionally gives her a ride home. She told him she talked to their manager about hiring him again and the manager told her no because he had targeted her in a Facebook post. My husband has posted plenty of times about how sick he was of people who stiffed him on deliveries and about coworkers being lazy, never naming any names. He has never mentioned his manager once in a post at all or even talked about a manager period.
This means someone on his Facebook must have been mad because they thought a post he made was about them and went and told the manager lies. So he wants to sit down and have a talk with the manager to clear the air and if nothing else to ensure there is no bad blood between them. In the best case scenario he will have a job again. The bad part is that she is currently on vacation in the Philippines visiting family. I don't know when she is supposed to get back but hopefully that is soon.
Have you ever had a coworker lie about you in the work place? if so what did they lie about? Did they get caught in the lie and reprimanded?

This is one of the reasons why I don't post up anything on Facebook.
When I was working at my previous job I had co workers add me and even my 'boss' wanted to be friend me. My boss does not even SAY HELLO or greet me and wants to be my friend.
And you see these people daily so you can't reject them when they know I do use social media. So I add them and just not post anything. I only use the messenger feature for family that lives overseas.
I hope all works out for you

He thinks he knows who it is and she is on his friends list out of the 3 people he added from the job. He has seen her lie before so we'll see how it turns out

Probably, one of the jobs I had which was a professional one...I had a co worker who was extremely mean to me to my face,,,and then would act incredibly sweet in front of the boss. She was easily the most two faced person I ever met in my life.

Some people/coworkers fawn over the boss or manager in the office to make them look like a better employee.
I never had such experience. But I had this business partner who betrayed me.
