Gas prices are always a concern for folks across the country, so it doesn't help when someone drives an excavator into a pipeline causing a huge explosion. That's what happened in Helena, Alabama yesterday.
The Colonial Gas Company ships 100 million gallons a day; serving 50 million people, from Houston all the way to New York. Seven gas workers were injured in the event and taken by helicopter and ambulance to local hospitals.
I'm quite sure the price of gas is going to hit the roof.

And we're suppose to have a new pipeline from Canada to Texas built? I can just see the problems now @marsha32 .

Hope the Gas Workers are doing and recovering well now. Did they manage to control the Fire. Here in Madrid they are still clearing up after a huge Fire where thousands of tyres were dumped ages ago but the Taxpayer has to pay for all that cleaning up stuff too.

Gas and oil are the things which needs supreme care while travelling. If its gone..its a biggg loss
