Closer to being done...

I got a little work on my cross stitch project today.
I'm getting more done on the shell--even though I misplaced the pattern. For what I've done lately I've sort of "played it by ear." I think that it's turning out okay.
I'm thinking of adding something else "nautical" to the top of the design--like an anchor or something.

Eh--it's not, really, but I keep changing things a bit in the hopes of finding the right "formula".

I miss doing cross-stitch. The last piece I did was before my eldest daughter was born - 22 years ago. 
I wonder if they still sell these cross-stitch patterns and kits. None of my 3 daughters stitch - they don't teach them in school anymore, like back in my days..
But I don't think I can even attempt to do it without the patent..
