Don't take my babies....!

She is my aunt's cat and just has her first babies. I don't like her as she doesn't want anybody take or even touch her babies. When I just look at her and her babies, as if she screams 'Don't take my babies...! No, of course I don't want to take her babies away from her. But she seems always to have negative thinkings. She makes me uneasy.. What a miser cat mom! I wonder if all cat moms are stingy when they have babies..

I like both dogs and cats. I have one of each at home and they get along well like brothers. My previous cat (RIP) was a girl and she had kittens before, as usual, she was still kind, but I saw that when we try to get her kitten, she becomes overprotective and try to defend the baby, I think its just maternal instinct of cats but when she is far away from her kittens, she likes me back again. I still love her and respect her boundaries. Now I feel like crying because she passed away, what's worse is that I never even got to see it's body because one day it just left and never came back, leaving her 1 year old kittens behind.

@Ayuriny I tried looking for my cat for days, but I never found her. Since then, I knew that my cat has passed away because when that cat goes to a far away place, it still knows how to come home.

@Ayuriny Yeah, I named him Hello, so that when I get home, I can sing Adele's "Hello", and he comes to me and rubs his furry head to my feet. Such a cute fella.

@GopherDanny Yes, you're right. Cats are smart animals. So how about now? Do you have another new cat?

Wait. I know that she always thinks negative! I just want to cuddle her babies for some minutes...just to make sure they are in good condition. Why do you side with her? Now I know, This cat is really dangerous that you're affected by her.

Yeah, she had the right to protect her babies. But I think she's too much. Lol

They don't know our intentions and may not be able to understand them....so they get protective. I guess pet cats would be more trusting in such cases.

Ahh,...yes they could be. I think the cat mom just didn't know me well, and that's why she became overprotected.

think it's her protective instinct. better than if she eats her own kittens right..

Yeah, I agree with you. This cat like the other animals is so possessive to her babies. I hope this doesn't last long.
