I use yahoo mails but my friends prefer gmail,,,they say that gmail is faster.

well i prefer them both since i have an account on both of them, yahoo mail and gmail mail. hhhmmmm.... i have the feeling that you are from abra province, are you from there. greetings. : )

I personally prefer Yahoo mail because I can arrange my mail into folders. Gmail on the other hand has no support for folders and even though Gmail has more space, my Gmail looks very messy at times
