To Go or Not To Go

Last week during our nice evening by the fire pit our friends told us that they would be having a Harry Potter night Friday night, by which I mean tonight. We'd be watching the first 3 movies tonight, sleeping over, having breakfast and watching the rest of the movies tomorrow. I am really excited for it because I like the Harry Potter movies. My husband had said that he would be going too which means we would also be bringing our son. Well this morning I asked him if he wanted to bring any snacks. Our friend told us she would have nachos popcorn, water, wine, and tea as refreshments. If anyone else wanted anything else they would have to bring it themselves. He did that thing that he always does when he wants to bail on plans, slumped his shoulders and groaned saying he doesn't know if he really wants to go anymore. Of course since he always tends to do this 9/10 times that we make any plans other than date night. If he doesn't go then I will leave our son with him. My son won't be interested in watching the movie so if he won't come then he can spend the night alone with our son. He originally was pretty interested in going especially since one of his best friends, the son of our friends, is going to be there as well. I don't know how good I'll feel about leaving my son though because he gets upset when he knows I am going somewhere without him. So now I am rethinking whether I really want to go or not.
