A great scientists who is forgotten today

In fact I heard about Nikola Tesla not so long time ago. I learned about him from my son. Then I felt in shock because I didn't understand why such a great scientist was never mentioned in our textbooks when I was a student. If my son is not interested in the electricity so much, I may not know Nikola Tesla until now. I heard that Hollywood will have a movie about Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. I look forward to watching it. This movie will tell people more about Tesla and more people will get to know him.

Such is life. What exactly did he invent? Was he the leading inventor in what he invented? These questions matters alot as to why his name isn't much known.

I didn't have him in my textbooks either...but i love watching science documentaries...so i learnt about him myself.

Perhaps his ending is not so good and therefore the textbooks don't want to mention him?
