Have you ever plant something and feel really... proud of the outcome?

I love fever grass (lemongrass) tea very much. I always purchase it but since I moved to my new home I realized that my neighbor had some in her back yard. I asked her for some once but was ashamed to ask too often. The next time I went over I happen to see some lose roots, I asked her if it is easy to catch she said it is. I then proceed to asked her for a root she said yes. Yippee!! I planted it at the side of my home about 8 months ago. I am now drinking fever grass every other day. I really feel proud of my fever grass.

I grow a variety of vegetables most years and I love seeing (and eating and sharing) the results. It can take a lot of work to prepare the soil but it's worth it.

That's nice. I feel really motivated to plant something else when I get the time I will.

@Wowtalk In the UK our planting is mostly done from April until late summer (although potatoes can be planted earlier in the year). The rest of the time can be spent composting and preparing the ground.
