I am now attempting to do a design to put on a jar lid. I found some aida cloth in our stash that's smaller stitches to the inch than what I've been using, so I figured that would be good. At first I didn't like the way that it was turning out, but after a while I looked at it again, and didn't think it was looking so bad...

That looks so cute and dainty. That is the only needlework that I can do, cross-stitching. I have to have a pattern though as I cannot conjure an original design and mix aesthetically pleasing colors of threads. Good job!
