If you aren't someone that's willing to dig into the belly of the beast you're never going to get your moneys worth of your Netflix subscription. I wish they had a better classification system but as it stands I'm paying $7.99 to watch movies I have never seen or heard of before. That's how I happened upon this little gem.
Satanic is more of a thriller than a horror movie; yes there is blood and there is death but there is an actual plot even though it sometimes gets hijacked by drama reminiscent of the Satanic Panic in the 1980's. Sarah Hyland is the only notable 'star' in the film but they did a god job finding a Jacob lookalike with Steven Krueger as Dave.
The film opens with authentic black & white footage of Anton LaVey and footage of old devil themed commercials or 'warnings'. It's interesting but really plays no part in the -plot; and speaking of the plot. You are going to want to watch this from the very beginning to the very end because you will do a complete jaw-drop when you get to the last three minutes.
The spring break trip was supposed to end with hitting Coachella but thanks to some planned pit-stops that never happens. They start at The Flower Hotel and stay in the same room that Lanie Gore committed suicide in. From there they visit places like the Tate mansion (Manson murders), Black Door and Church of Satan. When they have trouble at Black Door and decide to follow them home they sneak on to the property and witness the beginning of a ritual.
A dropped phone, an invitation extended to a stranger and the first death happen in rapid succession. There's plenty more meat on the bone as the characters are picked off. Could it have been better? Sure but its no where near a wash out.

@sharon6345 I don´t even understand why they make those movies. I feel that they help crazy people do things they shouldn´t.

@sharon6345 So true. And then we hear of real people do bad things that have been taught on TV and movies.

That's the reality of Netflix. You aren't going to get a steady diet of recent major titles. You have to dig as you say for the "little" movies.
