thankfully i have never ver drowned. this is because i went to the deep zone portion of the pool only after learning to swim properly in shallow waters.

When I was about 5 years old, me and my friends were playing in an old used oil plant and there a hole about 3 square meters wide and while playing my ball get into the hole. While trying to reach the ball and get it off the hole, I slip form the edge and fall on the water. The water was about 5 feet deep only but I was about 3 feet tall that time so I can hardly reach the top. Luckily, after several tryies to kick and reach the top, I was able to reach the edge and able to climb up the hole. Thanks God I've made it.

I do not know how to swim and I was in the river one day with my sisters just cooling off and I was in about waist deep water and I slipped on a slippery rock. The water wasnt that deep but I went under very suddenly and swallowed a lot of water and breathed in some too! It was kinda scary. I was only 11 or 12 at the time.

I almost drown when I was 8 years old. I went swimming in the river with some friends and their family. At that time I did not know how to swim. I fell in the river and the currents pulled me down the river. And I got caught in a whirl pool. It kept on pulling me under. I was fighting to get out and when I came to the top of the water just long enough to caugh up water and I fought it for about 10 minutes or so. It seemed alot longer than that. But I got out thank God. Which I will tell how I got out on another Discussion That im going to start.
