Having done series' about "Girl Songs " and "Boy Songs,"I'm now doing a Favorite "Guys Names" Songs countdown. #7 belongs to Gorillaz and their hit "Clint Eastwood."
The brainchild of Blur leader Damon Auburn, Grammy-winning cartoon band Gorillaz formed in 1998 in Essex, England.
From their 2001 eponymous debut album, Clint Eastwood" is a groovy, laid-back tune that features Del the Funky Homosapien on the rap sections. The song did well in the UK, reaching #4 in the UK, and performed modestly in the States, stalling at #57.
