or subtitled "What's been going on in my life." Let's see. We have a new manager for our department. I won't be posting about how I'm aggravated with work anymore because this manager actually works, and makes our job much easier as well because of the way he works, and how he keeps on top of what is and isn't in the backroom. I've not worked more lately, I mean maybe one extra day here and there, but that's about it. I haven't been here because I've been on other sites and because I haven't had much to say here lately. I think a lot of that is because of the changing of the seasons, which isn't easy for me. Not only that but I've been watching a little more t.v., reading a lot more and even throwing in some loom knitting here and there. I do have the next three days off (after I work tonight) and I am not sure how I feel about that. I have the money to cover those days off, but I just don't know what to do with myself after the third day off starts. I tend to get antsy because it's not something I am used to. I spent this past weekend (well one and a half days) with my best friend and we had a real blast. We've both done better about actually hanging out more. Living on opposite sides of the county, combined with our different work schedules, makes for tough times getting together. We did have an interesting conversation, and there's a chance I might be touring the Eastern seaboard with them come spring. How has everyone here been lately? Just looking at the "recent discussions" I see a lot of the same ol' people around.

My job's been getting more frustrating.. but it's pointless to get into. I wish I could afford to work fewer hours. I haven't worked full-time in like 15 years.. I've been doing it for just over a year now and it's pretty hard to keep up with life when you feel like you're constantly working... Vacation in April, and this time we're going to Florida! I can't wait!

It gets harder to work more as we get older, and especially with more responsibilities. I have the same responsibilities but the will to work more is a bit lacking, not like it used to be. OOh Florida! GOing to the beach down there or to disneyland?

@ScribbledAdNauseum Universal studios. We debated Disney, but we think Universal would be a lot more fun, and slightly less expensive. We'll try Disney another time, maybe. We are staying for 4 days and only going to Universal for 3, so we're hoping to go to a beach on the 4th day... if nothing else we do have a lake front hotel, so we'll at least go to the lake, but I'd like to go to an ocean beach!

Good for you. Me? I do not know why I am so bad towards my work. I always want to skip work which I know is not good for the company because they need people whom they can rely on for the day productivity. I don't know I am so burn out. I am not happy anymore and I feel so guilty.

I understand how you feel. I've had jobs where I did not want to go into wor. Even in this job, it used to be the same for me. Maybe it's time for a new job for you?

Just knitting on a pegged device where you can do all the same stitches you can with normal knitting. Works things up faster as well.

Yes, I am glad I've got a better boss, and I can actually get more weekends off if I needed them now. Which is about the only time I get ot hang out with my friends.
