Mike Garafolo reports the news on Tuesday the Minnesota Vikings who are currently leading the National Football Conference North Division standings despite losing three games in a row after winning their first five games to start the 2016 football season will stay with their place kicker Blair Walsh.
Walsh missed one field goal and one extra point last Sunday in the 22-16 loss to the Detroit Lions which normally would be enough to have him replaced by the team this week.
The Vikings on Monday worked out six place kickers that included Travis Coons, Kai Forbath, Randy Bullock and Zach Hocker this week before they decided to stay with Walsh for the time being.
Walsh missed a potential game winning field goal in the National Football Conference playoff game versus the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.
Maybe the Vikings will give Walsh to get his place kicking skills together before their road game versus the Washington Redskins before they decide to release him since the Vikings need to start winning football games to make a playoff run this year.

That's faith after a shaky performance.

I know what you mean but I am sure Blair is walking on thin ice.
