What a pleasant surprise?

I was home yesterday and of course doing my usual stuff with my online undertakings.Then I received a phone call from a number that was unknown to me and so I first hesitated in receiving the call because to some extent,I don't like talking to anonymous persons for out of experience most of them are out to con. But I after received the call and it was from my son's school administrator requesting that I urgently report to the school's office.I obliged though with a lot of questions as to why the urgency even with the school already closed.But guess what ,a pleasant surprise was awaiting me because my son had been granted a birthday gift of quite some good cash courtesy of some sponsoring education program offered in the school. I was then given a child gift consent form to fill in details of how the cash would be spent and the project overseer further told me that it was still like a family gift and so I was free to consider buying anything for the other family members.But all in all,I was a happy parent because this is my first time to get such a gift and it came along very unexpectedly.
