Jon Morosi reports the news on Thursday the Baltimore Orioles are interested in signing current free agent outfielder Josh Reddick to a new contract. Reddick, 29 became a free agent at the end of the 2016 Major League Baseball season when his contract as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers ended. Reddick is not likely to sign a new deal with the Dodgers according to Dodger Blue reporter Matthew Moreno since Reddick would not to play in a part time role with the Dodgers in the 2017 Major League baseball season behind Yasiel Puig. Reddick has played in the Major Leagues with the Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers since he made his debut with the Red Sox in 2009.

I didn't figure the Dodgers would keep him.

Too many outfielders on their roster.
