Favorite "Girl's Names" Songs #4 - "Candy-O"

Compared to my Favorite "Guy's Names" Songs series, i've been slacking on my Favorite "Girl's Name" Songs countdown. We're at #4: "Candy-O" by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee's The Cars.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Ric Ocasek, The Cars formed in Boston in 1976, helping bring new wave to a larger audience.
The title track of their second, 1979 album, finds the band exercising their new wave chops. The song, featuring the late Benjamin Orr on vocals (he had the best voice of the two,) was not a hit, nor was "Candy-O" a single. They did rock the hell out of it in concert, making it a show highlight. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, The Cars never rocked as hard as they did with "Candy-O."

A good song. A lot of critics express disdain for the Cars but I thought they were a good group. "Candy-O" was heavily played on alternative radio.

They were a great band. I miss Benjamin Orr, though.
