Are doctors milking the insurance companies?
for example I know some who has a great insurance plan by their work place both the husband and wife the doctor told them they had cancer So both them not at the same time had to go for Chemo treatments.
I find out that doctors make % of the cost of the chemo treatment. My friend doing great now. but how do we rally know we rally need the treatment.
the pharmaceutical industry care more about money then people. This is why I rally do not trust the medical that much any more.

The medical profession is also responsible for driving up costs. My father had terminal cancer and they went to town with "bogus" stuff they charged to medicare.

Seriously? Chemotherapy is intense, and I imagine that both of those people had diagnostic tests that showed evidence of tumors that required chemotherapy. In general, cancer treatments are overseen by a professional who specializes in treating various types of cancer--an oncologist.
When it comes to knowing if you need a treatment, you can ask the doctor to explain what they're seeing in the tests that indicates you need it. If they can't explain it to your satisfaction, you seek a second opinion from another doctor.
