MRI With a Piercing?

So tomorrow I have the MRI on my ankle. I know you're not supposed to be wearing any metal but I have a small problem. I have a nose piercing that DOESN'T come out. I'd have to rip my nostril apart to get it out. When I scheduled the MRI I was told it might be a problem or it might not be - they just won't know until during the MRI. It could burn me, it could be ripped out by the machine. I basically just have to take my chances.
Anyone else have an MRI with a piercing in?

I don't have an MRI, but to be safe, that metal should be removed. Tell the doctors or the MRI operator about it.

I definitely plan to. I told the lady when I made the appointment for it and she is who told me it could be fine or it could burn or pull.

I thought nose ring is easy to remove like the earrings.
