I'd completely forgotten about Alexander Ludwig starring in Final Girl until I was searching the “violent” section of Netflix. Ludwig, of Vikings fame, plays the leader of four males who love nothing more than hunting. No permit needed for this hunt though, they are hunting humans. Well, to be more specific, hot chicks that they lure to the wood and play cat-and-mouse with.
Enter Veronica. It's assumed her parents are dead because they aren't mentioned. She is trained to become a killing machine but that happens a long time before the murders start. Over time she starts to have feelings for William but he restrains himself (well, watch it and find out). You can feel the tension between them but the writers kept that up in the air until the end of the movie.
The fight scenes are above average but I was really hoping to see more blood; when Jameson gets knocked out with Veronica's special brew he starts hallucinating about all of the women that he and his cronies have killed. The ending is nothing sensational but it could have been a lot worse.
If you watched movies like “Surviving The Game”, “The Pest” and “Predators” then this is well worth checking out. As much as I hate to say it, it really mirrors “Point of No Return” when you compare the plots. I was expecting more blood and gore and there's no way I would ever classify this as a horror movie. It is predictable but completely watchable.

Please note: This is NOT the same movie as The Final Girls which was released the same year as this film and also starts Alexander Ludwig.

This sounds like a movie I would watch for sure. I do watch Vikings. Abigail Breslin is on Scream Queens.
