Andrew Krammer reports the news on Tuesday the Minnesota Vikings made a roster change by releasing Blair Walsh as their place kicker. Walsh missed one extra point on Sunday during the Vikings 26-20 loss to the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field in Landover Maryland which was the last straw that the Vikings could handle in their current four game losing streak. Forbath was the place kicker for the Washington Redskins from 2012-2014 and the New Orleans Saints in 2015 before he was released by the Saints on September 6, 2016 since Wil Lutz beat out Forbath to be their place kicker this current football season. The Vikings are hoping that Forbath increases their chance to win their remaining seven football games of the 2016 football season by being able to execute field goals and extra points better than Walsh did this year. . The Vikings (5-4) are currently tied for first place with the Detroit Lions (5-4) in the National Football Conference North Division.

Walsh paid a big price for missing that kick.
