American Recycle day

Happy November 15th! Apparently today is American Recycle day for those of us that live in the US. I know we don't really celebrate that day at all here in the US because we normally wait for Earth Day and do all that fun stuff then.
Most house where I live recycle weekly. Ours doesn't get picked up till Thursday every week unless weather is to dangerous or it's a holiday. So our recycle happens every week and the kids help me put things in the recycle bin weekly to be recycled. We tend to have a lot of boxes and bags a few bottles here and there.

Yes today is American Recycle day =) If you go to Staples and recycle monitors, towers, mouses, keyboards, printers - you get a $10 off $20 coupon for December.
I dropped off old printers and monitors. Win/win situation - cleaning out old stuff & got a coupon for next month so that was nice!

Recycling has caught on Israel too. We have recycling bins for newspapers, plastic bottles in the neighbors here. I throw out my plastic bottles in one and they even have recycling for batteries here too.
