Day 71 Proverbs 12:28 Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death. Assurance is something everyone wants and seldom receives. Life is full of what ifs and tangents, running around in circles and getting nowhere in a hurry. What if there was something you could be absolutely certain of in your lives? Solomon showed there was something you could be certain of in this life – a righteous life. A life lived with a single purpose – to honor God above everything else. God’s Word is your assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ, his Son. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. As you read that verse you have the full assurance of eternal life if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and the finished work of the cross. And if you have eternal life, death will not follow. You cannot have both life and death. Jesus showed there are two paths in this life. One leads to eternal life, the other to destruction. Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the straight gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. What pathway are you following in life? Let’s pray: Father, help me stay on the path leading to eternal life, where no darkness or death is found. Help me know the assurance of your salvation every day of my life as I walk the narrow path. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. Copyright © 16 November 2016 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

It's nice and good. I am Hindu by religion and my grandmother reads Geeta everyday. I have many good lessons in my English book about holy Bible
