Ok republican friends what your solution for health care for low income people like me who do work around 20 hours a week. Yes there a lot of people who do work like me we just have part time jobs at this time and the employer does not offer insurance to part workers in other words we got to work 30 hours to get insurance but we do not get those hours. I here people on the right saying every one on some kind assiant from the government is lazy , Yes there is some lazy people, but I am talking about the ones who work. Well I can tell you most of the people working the discount stores. Not only Walmart , but all the discount stores like kmart, ,target etc. Most of the people only work part time and some of them do get food stamps. me I make $5.00 to much to get food stamps or medicaid, If was not for the affordable care act(obama care) I would have no medical insurance at all. I pay $20.00 a month for some medical insurance not great but better them going to the ER each time I need to get my ears clean. The Last time I was the ER for ear cleaning the cost was over $5000. this in no joke .No I could not pay for it . so it in my credit report .I had no choice if my ears were clean out the ear wax would get on the eardrum and cause a lot of pain . How do I know I had it happen. So what your solution for low income workers to get medical insurance with out the affordable care act. We know the right do not like single payer system. they do not like afforble care act. And a lot of people on right do not like low income workers . Why because a lot of us are on the left. OK let the solution roll in.

You should be going to your primary care doctor for the ear cleanings, not the emergency room. That will eliminate the excessive charges for using hospital resources for a minor complaint. In the future, you an set up payment plans with the hospital to ensure that it doesn't go to collections. Many will also waive some of the fees based on income, so talking to the billing office is one of the best things you can do.
I think the solution from many will probably be to search for another job that gives you either more hours or a higher wage. 20 hours a week really isn't all that much, unfortunately. It's about what I get on average, although it works for us because my husband is full time and makes more per hour now. If it weren't for my medical issues I'd do more than I do now... but some would still consider me lazy because I don't have a diagnosis that they're familiar with.

Hi when you are a low income worker we do not have a primarcare doctor , We can not afford insurance
this why we had no choice but have to go to the ER to get the job done. This was before the affordable exist.plus in my area since it kind of farm country there is no full time jobs. This is the big problem the right think there jobs all over the places but there is not . our mall here Macy and JC pennys close up their shops, so did office depot, and sport authority.I am thank full that for now we have the affordable care act( Obma care) now at least I do have a primary and can get my ear clean out and my cost per month is only$20.00. If the affordable act get cancel . I have to go back to the ER because I have no insurance again . I can not afford to move to other town or city . Plus low income workers can not afford payment plans, with gas for the car . It hard for me to buy food I do not qualified for the snap food stamp program and do not say get rid of the car with out car in my area I would not have a part time job. My area does not have a good public bus program. . Like I said this area was kind of farm country with a lot of empty IBM building . Yes IBM left my town.thie why most of the mall stores are closing
