Why is it that you do stuff for people and yet you find out that they do not appreciate it?
For instance there is a Sally who does not have a lot of money, but more than I do. A person that we both know, John was dealing with some medical issues which made finances short for him and his family.
So Sally and I chipped in and got John food for him and his family. Four or five days later when John's wife got a check she took Sally out to lunch.
I do not expect to be repaid, but why was Sally invited out by her and not me?

That is so sad. I understand that you didn't want to be repaid but if she took Sally out to lunch she could have invite you too. Maybe she didn't have the money to take the two of you out and if that was the case then I don't think she should have taken anybody.

Don’t worry about it, maybe next time she will invite you and not Sally. Sometimes you do something well but other people don’t do well as you, don’t question, not everybody like you in the world.

That's not right, she should have invited both of you or neither of you. I'm sorry. =(
