Distracted Driving

Since most people can't walk and chew gum at the same time, what makes someone thing they can text, email, use apps and talk while driving???? From January to June, there were 17,775 deaths due to distracted driving. That's 98 deaths per day due to stupidity.
31% of drivers aged 18-64 'admitted' to texting or emailing while driving and 'hands free' devices are not a deterrent. Most human brains are not capable of multi-tasking and considering 27 seconds is used to manipulate these devices, that's plenty of time to miss a stop sign, hit someone on a bicycle or a pedestrian, swerve out of lane or be speeding.
Somehow I don't think being on Snap Chat, Facebook or taking a selfie is worth it, do you?

The only thing I use my cell phone for is an emergency @crazyhorseladycx and you can bet that means I'm stranded at the side of the road.
