anyone have a child or relative with autism?

just curious.. I have a 9 year old son who is autistic.. I've never met anyone with it that is older than he is and I'm kinda curious as to what lies ahead.. also feel free to ask anything about the disorder.. Im not a dr. but I have experience! and have researched it for years

My sister has autism. She is 34 years young. She went to a special school when she was younger. Then after leaving school, she worked in a workshop for the handicapped. Now she just stays home, but does very well playing ten pin bowling twice a week.

thank you for your response, is she considered high functioning? does she live alone?
