. Aside from busy making this quilt for my little grand daughter Audrey, I also accepted a few job orders so I can have a bit of pocket money when we travel back to the homeland in a couple of months time .. I came to check on Mylot a few days ago and found nearly a hundred notifications.. I thought I will come back today to respond to all of them but there were only less than 30 ..about 60 disappeared.. How long do they stay before the site deletes them?. Does anyone know? Anyway, I have responded to the ones left and will continue browsing here for another hour .. Wishing everyone a great week ahead ..

Hi dear! Your quilt is so lovely, the color is truly so attractive to my eyes. Regarding notifications, I was told that it disappeared after a week but not sure if this is accurate.

.. Thanks! .. That quilt took me 45 hours to make .. It's like making a wedding dress .. And I shall take note of that .. will make sure to take care of those notifications before they get deleted ..

I think it is only for a few days , maybe 3 days . Will it be the first time your children will be coming with you to the Philippines ? Where here in the Philippines is your hometown ?

I missed out on some of my notifications again as I was busy offline .. My hometown is Sorsogon .. My eldest and youngest have been to the Philippines twice and they are not keen on going back .. My second son have to interest in seeing where I came from .. I don't insist .. But my husband and I go back there every year ..

The notifications stay up for about a week. That's a lovely quilt you made for your granddaughter. I'm also a quilter and always hope I can find a buyer for some....to provide money for more quilting supplies and room for different quilts.

Thanks .. You must have some awesome quilt designs .. I am not a quilter .. This one is only the 3rd quilt I made .. Quilting is so time consuming that I thought it would be hard to make money out of it .. This one here took me same time as making a wedding dress that I could charge $1000 to $1500 for the labour charge only ... so I prefer to sew dresses for money ... I hope you find buyers who will pay the right price and appreciate the time and energy and patience and love you put into making quilts..

@epiffanie I've made wedding dresses. Eventually I owned a bridal shop and ordered ready made dresses which I altered. Few people were willing to pay for the time it takes to make a wedding dress. My daughters dress, when people ask, cost me just $150 in materials, but 120-180 hours in labour. Once I made a quilt for a "friend", she told me she would pay me.......when the quilt was finished, I told her I had used $75 in material, and put in about 100 hours in labour.......she wrote me a check for $100. I've never made another quilt without talking $$$ first. Lesson learned.

I thought they stayed for 30 days but what do I know. I have tons of notifications in an email folder that I probably will never get around to. I love the quilt!

i think notifications stay for a week before the old ones are deleted....not sure. I vaguely remember reading this somewhere. The quilt is super cute.
