RUSH to end touring...is this end for RUSH?

Its been a rather disheartening thought to hear RUSH will be packing it in and no longer touring due to drummer Neil Peart's fatiguing medical conditions with tendonitis. For several or more years, I had let myself out of the loop and fell off opportunities to see them live once or more again, feeling there would always be one more chance to them again in my state. Now that ship has supposedly sailed and I (and other fan friends of mine) are feeling sad about these lost chances to see them again. Though, I am curious: How many think this is not only the ending of touring for Geddy, Alex, and Neil as a group but possibly as a recording artist band entirely?

Not a Rush fan but all fans can appreciate that they get to leave on their terms. BTW, I recommend Neil's book Ghost Rider. Very poignant, and no Geddy Lee vocals.

Rush is my absolute favorite band. I was lucky because my husband and I went to see them in June 2011 during their Time Machine Tour in Greenville SC. It was awesome. I will never forget it. I think they wont record together anymore, but they may record separately on their own. But, even though it is sad they have retired as a group, they have been around 40 years and have made so much music, we fans will always have a good variety of their music to listen to. Their music has become Classic and in a hundred years in the future, people will treat their music like we treat Mozart. It will be legendary and historical.

I hope not since Rush is a very good rock and roll music band due to the their song "Tom Sawyer". Say it ain't so.
